MEC Filter | Mechanical Cleaning

The MEC type multi-pocket filter is a filter cleaned by means of a vibratory motor. This dedusting solution is used for the filtration of continuously as well as discontinuously occurring dust-laden air volumes.

Due to its automatically controlled mechanical cleaning method, no additional compressed air is required, thus eliminating complex control systems for compressed air cleaning. Additionally, the elimination of compressed air cleaning saves energy, which in turn reduces operating costs and protects the environment.

This dedusting solution is particularly suitable for systems and processes where operational interruptions are expected, during which automated mechanical cleaning can be performed.

The filter can be made of stainless steel, designed to be ATEX compliant, and equipped with explosion protection devices. With this dedusting solution, depending on the design, a clean gas dust content of less than 1 mg/m³ can be achieved, which makes it possible to return the airflow back into the hall.
